Everything is, such as it is

... the highlands of Iceland ...

… naked, raw and beautiful …

There is stillness and peace over the earth and everything is perfect.
It is so good to be alive.  Open the eyes and look at all the wonders of the world.  Be in and create the worlds around us.  All these small worlds, within the whole world, in which we live, learn and play, but mostly create our own tiny little, our existence.
Still we require purpose.  We seem not to understand that everything just is.  Not as it is, to become something else.  But only such, as it is.  Nothing more.  But we insist on importance so we ignore the peace which everywhere prevails.
And create in its place a purpose which is an endless conflict and war.

We can search, but we cannot find

... lonely straw ...

                                      … lonely straw …

The way to truth or god can only be something fixes and given in advance, if the truth or god has a definite, fixed location, or address.
In other words, we can only look for and find what we already know and know where to find.
We cannot look for a needle in a haystack, unless we know, or at least assume it is in the haystack and know how it looks.  How else would we know whether it is the needle we find or something else?

We want to be gods

... the glory ...

… the glory …

Precisely at this moment, while we read these words, there are people all over the world doing something.  Some are on their way to work and others on the way home from work.  Some are going to sleep while others are waking up.  Children are being born and people are dying.  Some are born to poor conditions, while others enjoy wealth.  Some die of diseases while others die of old age, are killed or die of starvation.  Australians receive summer while Scandinavians receive winter.  The earth rotates around itself on its journey through space like millions of other planets, suns and stars in countless galaxies.
This does not happen one after the other, but all at once.  Now, at this moment, this is all happening.
How are we to understand that which is behind it all?  It which has an overview of all of this, and much more, happens exactly the same moment?
We who have not even an overview of a few hours of our lives.
But that we cannot accept.  Do we?

Large is small

The man with the hat ...

It is comparison that controls.  We can just be larger than those that are smaller and smaller than those that are larger, and this applies to everything, beautiful and ugly, good and bad, everything.  It does not matter where we look; it is all relative to something else.  But does it have to be like that?  Is it possible to stop the comparison?

We know that there are large and small, good and bad, but do we have to compare it, can big not be big for itself?  Need it to compare itself with little? Whence came this, is it learned or maybe just a misunderstanding or an old habit?

Comparison, large and small, is the topic in chapter 8 in the book “The moment” – continue reading>

Those who went before us

... once upon time ...

… once upon time …

Maybe we do not like it, and maybe we would like to have it some other way, but no matter what we like, desire, and think we know, the fact remains that we live in a world of delusion that we ourselves have created, around our existence, and it seems that we do not even know it.

But it is not necessary to continue to create and maintain what previous generations have handed to us, we can change and improve the world, we may lay down the arms and wars, famine, greed and other ill will.  The world is ours to create.

Nothing and no one can force us to hold on to this illusion, except perhaps ourselves, our greed for power and desire for money.  But it is then our choice, our desires and not others.
Certainly it would be convenient to point to the next person, or our circumstances, or just the whole world, and say, he, she or it stands in the way, they demand this of us.  But it would not be true.  To say such thing would be just a continuation of the illusion, the self-defense of the me, to maintain and strengthen itself.

Our ancestors handed us the arms, wars and other ill will, but many discovered the reality of the me and tried to tell us about it and guide us.  We can see it all over the planet …
